Pivot Mach 6 27.5
The Mach 6 isn’t like anything else in Pivot’s line-up. Hell, it’s not quite like anything they’ve built before! It’s an all new machine designed from the ground up to optimise the 27.5” wheel platform and take the growing Enduro racing scene by storm. The Mach 6 is built with the singular purpose of going faster than anything else in the most aggressive terrain (both up and down).
The Mach 6 features the next generation of long travel dw-link design. With features like 6.1” (155mm) of travel, a low BB height (13.6”), longer top tubes, lower standover, and a slack head angle (66 degrees), built around an ultra stiff and responsive carbon chassis, the Mach 6 is a bike designed to push your capabilities and reward those willing to push the limits. Pivot optimised the design with internal top tube cable routing, internal dropper post routing (dropper post not included with this model), ISCG 05 tabs, and a look that screams of speed. The Mach 6 absolutely rips for the aggressive trail rider.
The dw-link suspension design allows Pivot to achieve the ultimate ride. The perfect balance of traction, acceleration, square edge bump performance, superior braking, and the ability to handle big hits with ease is what Pivot bikes are known for. The dw-link’s patented position sensitive anti-squat eliminates pedal bob during hard pedaling efforts out of the saddle and gives the bike additional traction while climbing (seated or standing) as well as really helping propel the bike forward during sprinting and hard efforts out of corners. What’s Fitted:
The Mach 6 carbon comes packed with top-end performance products which deliver outstanding reliability regardless of weather and off-road conditions. Firstly you have SRAM’s X01 components fitted throughout this fast carbon full sus machine. Being 11 speed, no front mech is fitted, but the shifting delivers crisp and precise gear movement and is centred around the SRAM’s X1 GXP single 11 speed chainset – fitted with a 30 tooth chainring. Take on the climbs, whiz down the descents and power along the trail – with this set-up you can.
SRAM X0 Trail brakes provide the awesome stopping power with the pads clamping around a set of Stans ZTR ARCH EX 27.5 wheels, which have a set of Kenda Nevegal 2.35 (front) and Honey Badger 2.2 (rear) tyres wrapped around them. 27.5″ wheels (also known as 650B) provide faster rolling and better bump absorption than a 26” wheel, yet lighter, stronger and more nimble than 29’s.
Then you have a pair of Fox 34 CTD FIT 150mm travel forks which can handle the punishment as they soak up all front-end hits. You also receive a Fox Float X CTD rear shock which is Pivot specific and custom tuned. This increases performance and adjustment range allowing riders to quickly and easily adjust for changing course or ride conditions.
Finally, you have a mix of Phoenix 740mm carbon riser bars that feature a pair of Pivot lock-on grips at either end. You then have a FSA Afterburner stem slammed in the middle and a matching Phoenix seatpost with a Pivot WTB Vigo Race saddle perched on top.
The Frame Features:
The Mach 6 carbon features under top tube internal shift cable routing with as well as dropper seatpost routing (not supplied with this model). Also, the frame features rubberised leather chainstay, inner seatstay, and downtube protectors for a quiet ride and higher impact resistance and frame protection.
Pivot’s exclusive hollow box, high-compression internal molding technology allows for greater compaction and smoother internal walls resulting in a lighter, stronger, highly optimized frame design with the best stiffness to weight ratio in the class.
Conclusion:
The faster you go in technical terrain, the more confidence it provides. The Mach 6 rewards the pro enduro rider with new found levels of speed and performance and the enthusiast, a bike that will take your riding confidence to a whole new level. Each one is fully built, tested and tuned by Wiggle’s team of qualified bike mechanics to ensure you’re bike arrives in perfect condition.

About the Pivot brand
Chris Cocalis launched Pivot Cycles in 2007 with the intention to develop the best mountain bikes in the world, creating a line of carbon and aluminium bikes that have set new benchmarks in terms of performance, weight and stiffness. Pivot has full manufacturing and proto-typing facilities at their HQ based in Tempe, Arizona. It is common for a new model to have been through as many as 6 different proto-type variations and been in development for 2 years before it ever enters into production. Having these capabilities at Pivot gives them an advantage that few of their competitors have. Seven years on, Pivot continue to develop, refine and re-define their range ensuring that they continue to produce the best performing bikes in the world.
